Obviously, the main theme of the July issue of HWM Philippines is gaming. From the cover down to the main sections of the magazine, this month’s issue is teeming with gaming products. Let’s start with our false cover, graced by the Predator Triton 700, a gaming notebook which also appeared at this year’s Computex exhibition in Taipei. Speaking of Computex, this issue is extra special because we have allotted more than 20 of our glossy pages to the newest products that caught our attention during the week-long event, most of which fall under the gaming category. Do note that gaming is one of the five core themes that were highlighted at Computex this year. We also have a spread in Gear section that is dedicated to some of the latest offerings for gamers, whether they play on PC or console.
Veering away from the hectic halls of Computex, our issue also brings you to two of the most renowned tourist destinations in the country: Boracay and El Nido. In Boracay, we got a chance to stay at the deluxe Monaco Suites de Boracay, the only resort in Boracay and the first in the Philippines to be powered by the sun. There, we sat with James Buskowitz, the chairman and CEO of the Buskowitz Group, to talk about his company’s aspirations in the country’s solar energy industry. In El Nido, Epson Philippines took us to Apulit Eco-Adventure Island Resort to celebrate the eighth year of the company’s Fusion media thanksgiving event.
There are more things in store for you in this issue. We have a Shootout article for those who are looking for the best hybrid smartwatch in the market. As usual, we are packed with reviews and features that will satisfy your tech cravings.
Our message? Just sit back, relax, and let the games begin!
