Accenture opens doors of first Liquid Studio in PH
Recognizing the essence of technology in businesses and the growing ecosystem adapting to digital transformation here in the Philippines, Accenture has opened its first liquid studio in the country to help clients take advantage of new innovations.
The 2,000sqm space located in Accenture’s main office in Bonifacio Global City is intended to be versatile and adapted to the fast-paced change in technology, thus, the “Liquid” in its name.
The space aims to show clients in an immersive and demonstrative approach how they can reduce development time from months to days by applying development approaches including Agile methodologies and DevOps, as well as artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation, augmented and virtual reality, cloud, Internet of Things, and blockchain.
“The Philippines is a significant and strategic part of Accenture’s global operations and the new Liquid Studio in Manila will help our clients navigate the digital revolution and stay competitive in today’s challenging marketplace,” said Ambe Tierro, Senior Managing Director and Accenture Technology Lead in the Philippines.
Serving as a testament to Accenture’s competitive commitment in research and technology, the Liquid Studio also promotes a co-innovative environment wherein clients can work with Accenture engineers and talents to turn concepts into applications and solutions with speed and agility.
Accenture’s first Liquid Studio here in the Philippines is also the company’s first to be co-located in an Accenture Delivery Center among other similar spaces located in Silicon Valley, London, Milan, Sidney, Paris, Kronberg, and Singapore.
“The Liquid Studio, which is the first to be co-located in an Accenture Delivery Center, helps clients create real-world solutions at speed and at scale through rapid prototyping, testing their viability in real-time. It is a great example of how Accenture leads with innovation to help clients ‘imagine and invent’ the future,” Tierro added.
In a studio tour hosted by Accenture for the members of the media, the company showcased some of the technologies present in the Liquid Studio including the Race Car Demo which measures car and fuel-efficiency, the Connected Mine which helps the mining industry increase productivity, and the Connected Home which utilizes Google Home for room operation.
The Liquid Studio will also serve as a training center for Accenture employees to build ideas and experience emerging technologies first-hand.
