ASUS Zenbook Touch and VivoBook S550 Now Available in PH

ASUS is bringing more touch-enabled Window 8 devices to the Philippines. Recently, the Taiwan-based company released the Zenbook Touch and the VivoBook S550.

ASUS Zenbook Touch

Carrying the legacy of elegance of the original Zenbook, the Zenbook Touch brandishes a spun-metal design and an ultra-compact from factor (3mm-9mm thinness, 1.3kg weight). Within its body, the Ultrabook comes with a third generation Intel Core i7 processor and SSD for storage. These components combined with Windows 8 and the 2-second instant on resume feature make the Zenbook Touch a highly-responsive device to own. Photos and movies well delivered through the Ultrabook’s 13.3-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution, while sound reproduction is made remarkable with the help of SonicMaster technology which ASUS co-developed with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower. In terms of energy efficiency, the Zenbook Touch can stay on up to seven hours and offers a standby mode of up to two weeks without data loss. The premium, touch-enabled Ultrabook is on offer at PhP 76,995.

ASUS VivoBook S550

Another touch-enabled Windows 8 Ultrabook is the VivoBook S550. On the outside, this model sports a hairline-spun textured metal surface with an ultrathin profile of 21mm. Powered by the latest Core i5 processor from Intel and equipped with hybrid SSD/HDD storage, the VivoBook S550 is also very responsive. Two-second instant resume capability is achieved through ASUS’ Super Hybrid Engine II feature. The Ultrabook delivers amazing graphics through its 15.6-inch display with the help of NVIDIA’s GeForce GT 635M GPU. The VivoBook S550CM is priced at PhP 36,995.
