AWS holds Media Masterclass, does live AI demonstrations

Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently held its Media Masterclass which primarily put emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and conducted a live demonstration.

Led by Oliver Klein, AWS Solutions Architect, Emerging Technologies, Asia-Pacific, the Media Masterclass aims to better enlighten consumers about AI, deep learning, machine learning, big data analytics, and Internet-of-Things (IoT).

Klein also clarified AI concepts and the related terminologies, as well as the underlying technologies. Aside from these, he explained how IoT space helps create natural interaction channels. With this, Klein gave a look through real world samples.

Attendees witnessed a live demonstration that includes interactions with voice through Amazon Lex, Amazon Polly, and the Alexa Voice Services. A visual recognition demo with services such as Amazon Rekognition took place, too.

To end the event, AWS also organized a hands-on workshop, letting the participants experience how they can implement AI for visual and audible conversations with a live bot that senses and interacts with the physical world.
