D-Link bolsters business network setups with DAP-2230 wireless access point

Building a business network is not easy. Today’s tech-savvy world means that businesses have to strive to step up their game to beat the competition. Helping businesses up the ante with their office network setup, D-Link is launching the new DAP-2230 Wireless N PoE Access Point which lets you extend your network and enjoy wireless speeds of up to 300Mbps. Some strong security and authentication features of the DAP-2230 include MAC address filtering, wireless LAN segmentation, SSID broadcast disable, rogue AP detection, and wireless broadcast scheduling.

With the DAP-2230's Network Access Protection (NAP), administrators can determine customized levels of network access depending on a client’s specific need. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM) Quality of Service (QoS) feature uses the level of interactive streaming to determine which network traffic activity to prioritize. This ensures maximum capacity performance for each dedicated user.

The DAP-2230 Wireless N PoE Access Point can also be configured to be used as a WDS/Bridge or a Wireless Client. It has simple and easy-to-use mounting brackets, whether you want your access point on the ceiling, on the wall, or on a desktop. The D-Link Central WiFi Manager (CWM-100) allows network administrators to remotely manage and monitor their wireless access points. This software helps users manage the DAP-2230 without any license charges.

Businesses can now make their office connections a wireless powerhouse with D-Link’s new DAP-2230 Wireless N PoE Access Point for only PhP 5, 714. There’s no any reason to lag behind.
