Dell marks end of 2015 with announcement of new products and solutions

To mark the end of this year, Dell rounded up its incredible products of 2015 and announced a new set of products and enterprise solutions for consumers to consider this coming 2016.

Dell, in partnership with Microsoft, is set to roll out premium Windows 10 devices with the latest Microsoft Edge browser next year. Windows 10’s enterprise-grade security and Microsoft Azure, which is a new cloud computing platform and infrastructure, will also be deployed.

Below are the new Dell products to watch out for in 2016:

Dell OptiPlex – a new line of fully revamped OptiPlex desktop PCs that Dell claims to be the world’s most secure and most manageable commercial desktops. It is equipped with Intel Core vPro processor, and features the Dell Data Protection Suite and Client Command Suite.

The updated portfolio includes: OptiPlex 7040, 5040, and 3040. Price starts from PhP 36,000, PhP 33,500, and PhP 28,500, respectively.

Dell Vostro 14 5000 Series – a 14-inch notebook built for working professionals. It is powered by a 6th-generation Intel processor with up to Core i7 performance and up to 8GB of RAM, beautifully crafted in either Era Grey or Jingle Gold anodized aluminum.

Dell Precision 3000 and 5000 Series – these are new mobile workstations that are thinner, lighter, and with faster processors, memory, and storage. They have new configuration options, including the 6th-generation Intel Core processors, first Intel Xeon processors for mobile workstations, and future Intel Xeon processors E3-1200 product families. It also has the latest professional graphics from AMD and NVIDIA. New screen options include the first PremierColor 4k Ultra HD displays.

The Dell Precision 3000 and 5000 series start from PhP 90,000 and PhP 125,000, respectively.

Dell also introduced a new set of comprehensive solutions that include the newest additions to the Dell PowerEdge 13th-generation servers – Dell PowerEdge R330, R230, T330, and T130. These new servers are set to help small and medium-sized businesses prepare for future growth.

The other solutions include the Dell Storage SC9000, Dell XC Series Appliance (XC6320, XC630-10F, and XC6320-6F), Dell Networking C9010 Network Director and C1048P Rapid Access Node, and Dell Networking S6100-ON multi-rate modular in-rack switch.

All these Dell solutions are now available; expect for the S6100-ON, which will be available in the first quarter of 2016.
