Epson Introduces Photo Scanners with Scan-to-Cloud Services

Epson just announced its V37 and V370 models which are the two new additions to their Perfection scanners lineup. These scanners boast their scan-to-cloud capabilities that gives the users freedom to scan, access, organize, and share documents wirelessly through the usual services like Google Docs, MS SharePoint, Evernote, etc. Scanning mounted slide, negatives, and film strips, for the artsy individuals out there, is also doable on the V370 model.

Both scanners carry an optical resolution of 4800 x 9600 dpi and its high-rise 180-degree lid ensures that scanning prints larger than normal sizes are possible. In addition, these models include various software for the users like the Easy Photo Fix that simply restores the color of old photos with the option of tweaking it. The ArcSoft Scan-n-Stitch, on the other hand, is also a software that allows users to scan parts of files and stich them together, while the ReadyScan function is a technology that eliminates the warm-up time therefore decreasing power consumption.
