G.Skill introduces their fastest DDR4 128GB memory kit clocked at 3,000MHz

G.Skill has revealed a new high-capacity memory kit for the Intel X99 platform. The new modules are clocked at a speedy 3,000MHz with 14-14-14-34 low latency timings and are targeted at content creation professionals or people who deal with 3D rendering or scientific calculations.

The kit comprises eight 16GB modules, and while it isn’t the first 128GB kit from G.Skill, it is the fastest that the company has ever made available in this capacity. As expected, it is also supports the latest Intel XMP 2.0 standard designed for Intel’s X99 platform.

Previously, the fastest 128GB kit from G.Skill was clocked at 2,800MHz with CL 15-15-15-35 timings.

The new DDR4 kit joins G.Skill’s Ripjaws V series of memory and will be available via authorized distribution partners by the end of January. G.Skill hasn’t released any pricing information at this point in time yet.
