IBM Conducts Free Analytics Training Courses in PH

At its establishment in the UP Ayala Technohub, IBM Philippines is conducting free analytics training courses.

IBM Philippines has free ongoing analytics training courses for IBM Academic Initiative (AI) partner Univesrities and Colleges that will end on May 17, 2013. In cooperation with Commission on Higher Education (CHED), IBM is conducting the training at the IBM Innovation Center in UP Ayala Technohub, Quezon City. IBM has divided the entire training into four schedules:

  • April 22 to 23: Fundamental of Business Analytics
  • April 24 to 26: Fundamentals of Enterprise Data Management
  • April 29 to May 3: Descriptive Analytics
  • May 13 to 17: Predictive Analytics

The series of trainings manifests IBM and CHED’s vision of helping the Philippines make it to the global analytics market and become a Global Center for Smarter Analytics. IBM and CHED are also working together in developing a Business Analytics Specialization Track which will be introduced as a supplement to the curricula offered by colleges and universities. The program includes six areas, primarily Fundamentals of Business Analytics, Fundamentals of Enterprise Data Management, Fundamentals of Analytics Modeling, Analytics Techniques & Tools, Analytics Applications, and Analytics Internship which includes internship, industry immersion and integration.
