The JBL Jr. line is intended to answer parents’ woes on standard headphones damaging their child’s ears. Both its two variants, the wired JBL JR300 and the JBL JR300BT with Bluetooth 4.0 comes equipped with the JBL Safe Sound feature which assures that the volume level is safe for little ears by allowing maximum sound at 85dB.

The wireless JBL JR300BT lasts up to 12 hours of playback time and can easily be refueled with the headphones’ quick charge feature that equates a ten-minute charge to one hour of playback. The JBL JR300, on the other hand, comes with 32mm drivers and anti-tangle flat cable.

In terms of ergonomics, the JBL Jr. line also has premium and flexible ear cushions, as well as soft-padded adjustable headband that can be adjusted seamlessly according to children’s ear sizes. It also has a solid outer design built to withstand the toughest wear and tear. The JBL Jr. headphones are also foldable to allow it to fit inside a bag.

“We’re excited to launch a headphone specifically designed for our youngest audience. The industry has invested exhaustive resources in a broad range of headphones to meet adult preferences, but children’s headphones have fallen short of the same high quality caliber. With the JBL Jr. line, we used JBL’s 70 years of audio heritage to build a quality line of headphones specifically designed for children so they can experience all the beauty that music can bring while giving parents peace of mind in safety and ergonomics,” said Larry Secreto, Country Head of Harman in the Philippines.

Available in colors of Spider Red and Ice Blue, the JBL JR300 is priced at PhP 1,499, while the JBL JR300BT with shades of Punky Pink, Rocker Blue, and Tropic Teal sells for PhP 2,999. The JBL Jr. headphones are now available in JBL stores nationwide.
