The newest version of the Kaspersky Internet Security packs improved features and functions focused on an even more secure connection and improved software cleaner and updater.

A function modified especially for users who are always on the go, the Secure Connection protection component allows users to connect to the Internet safely by encrypting all data sent and received through the network while performing financial operations, authorization on sites and transferring confidential information.

This feature can be activated through the main window of Kaspersky Internet Security, and can also be accessed whenever the user’s device is connected to a public Wi-Fi.

Within the security product’s license, users have 200MB of encrypted traffic at their daily disposal, and for an additional monthly or annual fee, they can get an unlimited volume of traffic.

The Software Updater, on the other hand, scans a device and automatically detects applications that need to be updated. Upon user agreement, the Software Updater will install the latest version of the applications. The user also has the option to manually request an application update or add items to the list of applications that should not be updated.

Another added security component, the Software Cleaner, is capable of scanning applications installed on the computer and marks those posing potential risk. Through a report from the Software Cleaner, the user will be given an option to remove said application.

The 2017 variant of the Kaspersky Internet Security is also equipped with advanced technologies including multi-level protection of financial transactions (with Safe Money), the prevention of the installation of unwanted applications (with Application Manager, part of the former Change Control feature) and the blocking of advertising banners in the browser (with Anti-Banner).
