Lenovo Pocket Yoga Resurfaces as Throwback Thursday Post

The Lenovo Pocket Yoga being used as laptop.

Lenovo Philippines has welcomed the first Thursday of the month with a throwback post on Facebook – the Lenovo Pocket Yoga. A concept product introduced in 2007, the Pocket Yoga sports a pocketable, ultraportable form factor similar to the Sony VAIO P. Described in this Lenovo blog as the smallest pocket notebook, the Pocket Yoga is covered in leather assimilating the flexible, warm feel of a wallet. It consists of an elongated tablet and a keyboard merged by a 360-degree hinge that allows the entire unit to be transformed into three positions: closed, laptop, and tablet. The Pocket Yoga also comes with a “belt” that doubles as a mouse when it is removed. The Pocket Yoga never materialized as a commercial product, but what we have today are its full-size relatives such as the IdeaPad Yoga 11S, IdeaPad Yoga 13, IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro, ThinkPad Yoga, and the Yoga Tablet.

The soft hinge allows the Pocket Yoga to be transformed into a tablet instantly.

The supplied belt doubles as a mouse.

It slips into the pocket like a wallet, reminding us of the expensive Sony VAIO P ultraportable.
