Lenovo has officially unveiled the new Phab 2 series in the Philippines. The lineup includes three new 6.4-inch smartphones – the Phab 2, Phab 2 Pro, and Phab 2 Plus – that offer an Augmented Reality (AR) experience for users to enjoy.

With the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, users can expect an elevated AR experience. Featuring Google's Tango technology, which allows 3D motion tracking and depth perception, you can map physical spaces and overlay it with virtual effects, track objects, and map indoor spaces. 

Tango makes the Phab 2 Pro pretty special. The device, however, also stands on its own with its premium features. It has a unibody design with a 6.4-inch 2K IPS Assertive display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440, and it packs a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD.

The Phab 2 Pro also has an 8-megapixel f/2.2 front camera and a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus, depth and motion tracking sensors for Tango. Lenovo's latest phablet features Dolby Audio Capture 5.1 with Dolby Atmos playback capabilities, as well.

Meanwhile, the Lenovo Phab 2 features a 6.4-inch HD IPS display with Dolby Atmos technology. This device is an entry-level version of the Phab 2 Pro. It features a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8735 Quad-core processor, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front snapper.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus, on the other hand, boasts a 13-megapixel dual-camera setup for an augmented photography. It comes with professional features like post-shot refocus, background swap, and AR special photo effects. It has a 6-4.inch FHD IPS display, powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8783 Octa-core processor, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. The Phab 2 Plus also has an 8-megapixel f/2.2 front snapper with 1.4µm pixel size.

The Phab 2 and Phab 2 Plus are now available at Lenovo stores and authorized dealer partners for only PhP 9,999 and PhP 14,999, respectively. The Phab 2 Pro, on the other hand, will be available by mid-December at an SRP of PhP 24,999.
