Hot on the heels of festive launch of the Agua Rio earlier this month, MyPhone is introducing another momentous smartphone model to the Philippine market. Representing the company’s first octa-core smartphone in 2014, the MyPhone Agua Infinity is announced, officially joining the aggressive local mobile arena.

Starting off with the fascia, the MyPhone Agua Infinity sports a 5-inch IPS LCD with Full HD screen resolution (1920 x 1080) and is protected by a durable layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 2 panel. Running on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS, the Agua Infinity is powered by a MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The smartphone employs a dual-camera system, possessing a 16-megapixel autofocus camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the Agua Infinity supports 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi with hotspot support. Equipped with a 2350mAh battery module, the Agua Infinity is on offer for PhP 12,999, bundled with a free casing and a flip cover.

The MyPhone Agua Infinity adds to the local selection of octa-core smartphones, which now includes the similarly-named Cherry Mobile Omega Infinity, Starmobile Diamond X1, Starmobile Octa, ThL T100 Monkey King II, and the ThL T200 Cyborg.
