Besides the Rio Craze, MyPhone also released another new smartphone, namely the Infinity Lite. The more affordable sibling of the Infinity, the Infinity Lite is also a smartphone that comes with MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core processor, but with a slower clock speed of 1.4GHz. It also sports a smaller 4.7-inch HD IPS touchscreen. On the imaging front, the Infinity Lite is equipped with an 8-megapixel main camera coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone also features 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), running on the latest Android KitKat OS. The dual-SIM Infinity Lite is bundled with a 2000mAh battery module. Much more affordable than the PhP 12,999-worth Infinity, the Infinity Lite costs PhP 7,999, which is the same price of the SKK Mobile Kraken. Another sub-10K octa-core smartphone available right now is the Cherry Mobile Magnum S selling for PhP 9,999. Consumers are also anticipating for the Xiaomi Redmi Note, which may cost nearly PhP 7,000, based on its CNY 999 pricing.
