MyPhone Ocean Elite Quad-core Smartphone Goes on Sale for PhP 8,999

MyPhone recently announced the latest addition to its Ocean series of Android smartphones, namely the MyPhone Ocean Elite. The phone flaunts a 5-inch touchscreen with 1280 x 720 display resolution, 5-megapixel front camera, and a 13-megapixel main camera with flash on the back. Running on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), the Ocean Elite is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB RAM. A dual-SIM handset, the Ocean Elite also supports 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. With 16GB onboard and a 2300mAh battery, this MyPhone model costs PhP 8,999, which makes it the most expensive offering in the Ocean series, followed by the Pro (PhP 6,999), Lite (PhP 2,999), and the Mini (PhP 1,999).
