Nokia Lumia 925 Available Starting August 19, Free With Smart Plan 1500

Nokia Philippines General Manager Karel Holub introducing the Lumia 925 at the Salon de Ning in Peninsula Manila yesterday.

Nokia Philippines recently announced that the Lumia 925 will be retailing for PhP 23,500 at Nokia Stores and Nokia Solutions Partners starting August 19, 2013. As the telco partner of Nokia for the Lumia 925, Smart Communications will offer the smartphone for free through the All-In Plan 1500 with a 30-month lock-in period.

Clad in a durable polycarbonate body with an aluminum enclosure, the Lumia 925 will be available in black, gray, and white colors. The new Windows Phone 8 device comes with a 4.5-inch AMOLED (1280 x 768) touchscreen which features Nokia’s Sunlight Readability and ClearBlack technology and is layered with a Gorilla Glass panel. The Lumia 925 is 8.5mm thin and weighs 139g.

One of the key features of the Lumia 925 is its 8.7-megapixel PureView camera with Zeiss lens. Equipped with six physical lenses, capturing images with the Lumia 925 produces sharp and vivid photos, even in a low light condition. The smartphone is also capable of recording blur-free Full HD videos, thanks to Nokia’s Pure Motion HD+ technology and Optical Image Stabilization.

Featuring Nokia Smart Camera, the Lumia 925 can capture up to ten photos in just one click, allowing users to choose the best shot when taking photos of an action-packed subject like a sporting event. Eventually, photos can be edited with Action Shot, Change Faces, and Cinemagraph options. Photo bombs can also be eliminated with Nokia Smart Camera.

Within, the Lumia 925 is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and 1GB RAM with 16GB internal memory. Nokia expands the ample storage with 7GB free cloud-based SkyDrive storage. As a Windows Phone 8 device, the Lumia 925 also comes with Microsoft Office. The Lumia 925 is bundled with a 2000mAh battery module and supports Wireless Charging.
