Nokia outs its first sleep tracker that lets you rate your sleep and monitor your snoring patterns
Nokia is entering the space of consumer sleep trackers with its first sleep tracking device, the Nokia Sleep which it announced at CES 2018.
Positioned as a sleep sensing and home automation pad, the Nokia Sleep has an advanced sensor to analyze sleep cycles and heart rate in detail. In addition, it can find out if, when and how much you snore. These vital information will contribute to a sleep score.
The company states that it is an easy one-time setup; Nokia Sleep can be placed under the mattress, plug to the power supply and pair with the Nokia Health Mate app via WiFi. The Health Mate app is also integrated with Amazon Alexa to provide insights on your activity, sleep and weight.
The Nokia Sleep also functions as a switch due to its integration with automation app IFTTT. This allows you to automatically trigger actions from other IFTTT-enabled devices in the home. For example, it can set the coffeemaker to brew a cup of coffee when you get out of bed or turn down the temperature in the room when you get in bed.
The Nokia Sleep will be available in Q1 2018 for US$99.95 (about PhP 5,000) on Nokia Health's website, Amazon.com and other retailers.
