OtterBox Releases the Preserver Series in the Philippines

Models and the OtterBox mascot show off iPhones with the Preserver Series equipped.

Without a doubt, OtterBox has become synonymous with maximum smartphone protection. Yesterday, the case specialist launched its newest series in the Philippine market, the Preserver Series. It's waterproof, drop-proof, and dust-proof, while still being easily pocketable.

OtterBox, along with partners Power Mac Center and Tenkie Box, hosted the launch at the F1 Hotel in Bonifacio Global City. Phones equipped with the Preserver Series were confidently dunked inside the hotel's infinity pool. That's because the latest in OtterBox's line of phone protection is fully submersible up to 6.6 feet for 30 minutes. The same level of defense applies to the drop-proofing, which allows the device to survive drops of up to 6.6 feet. Finally, the case is dust-proof, ultimately giving the Preserver Series an overall rating of IP68 (the highest possible for a mobile device).

Would you do something like this to your phone with an untrusted case brand? We don't think so.

Model and TV host Rovilson Fernandez trusts OtterBox to protect his phone during his extreme adventures.

The Preserver Series retails at PhP 4,100 for the iPhone 5 and 5s. It'll also be available for the Samsung Galaxy S5 once the phone is officially released. You can find complete product details at
