PH's first biggest Dota 2 tourney in 2018 happening this January
Fallout Gaming and Purpose Win Entertainment Limited (PWEL) are set to stage the biggest Dota 2 (Defense of the Ancients 2) major in the Philippines, the Galaxy Battles II: Emerging World, wherein 16 teams from all over the world will square off for a total prize pool of USD 1,000,000 in the three-day gaming event happening at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
The tournament is shaping to be the biggest major Dota 2 tournament for the year 2018, with participating teams from Asia, Europe, North America, and South America, including: Infamous, Red Bull OG, TNC Pro Team, Team LFY, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, Virtus Pro, and Team Newbee, the first ever-Galaxy Battles Champion. The team fought over a series of round robin matches during the first GB tourney held in June 2017 at the sold-out Shenzhen Bay Sports Centre in Shenzhen, China.
