Pioneer outs 2018 lineup of 13 audio receivers loaded with new features
Pioneer Electronics Asia Centre announced its latest line of audio receivers that are created to deliver great entertainment experience with its innovative features and amazing value, and meet the diverse needs of present-day motorists.
The latest array is comprised of 13 models, led by the top-of-the-line DEH-S5050BT CD receiver. Completing the cast are the 1-DIN DEH-S4050BT, DEH-S2050UI, DEH-1053UB, DEH-S1052UB, DEH-S1050UB; the DXT-S1069UB and the DXT-S106UB which come with bundled speakers; and the 2-DIN FH-S705BT, 200mm FH-S506BT, and the FH-S505BT. Pioneer also listed the MVH-S305BT and the MVH-S105UI media receivers as part of the roster, too.

The Pioneer 2018 audio receivers boast new features such as sharing content, personal karaoke, stronger and deeper bass on-demand, and exceptional connectivity and usability.
Sharing content has never been easier with the latest Pioneer car receivers as they have ARC Bluetooth Hub which can be accessed through Pioneer’s ARC mobile application that makes the device management simple, and enables users to add and remove devices, toggle connection mode (wireless audio, hands-free calling, or both), and select a different phone to access its library for music playback. It also supports for up to ten smartphones.
Users can have selected Pioneer car receivers such as the DEH-S5050BT and the FH-S705BT turned into a mobile karaoke machine in just four simple steps: (1) press and hold the Search key, (2) connect a microphone to the auxiliary jack, (3) select a soundtrack from digital sources like USB and Spotify, and (4) increase the mic volume through the head unit’s menu. Both inputs will be automatically mixed.
The Pioneer receivers DEH-S5050BT, DEH-S4050BT, FH-S705BT, FH-S506BT, FH-S505BT, and MVH-S305BT are equipped with a new Dynamic Bass Enhancer function which has two levels of enhancements (high and low) that promise unparalleled flexibility to complement different music genres. These can take effect via a dedicated button. In addition, these receivers also have an integrated SuperBass EQ and loudness control for a much-customized bass output.
The Pioneer car receivers have an upgraded 255-segment LCD screens that put users in full control by displaying more information such as time frame and playing source. On top of that, the brand also added USB auto pairing through its ARC app that enables Android smartphone users to have more seamless connection than ever. In addition, compatibility for iPhone 5, 6, and 7 is further enhanced with iAP2 support and certification.
The 2018 line of Pioneer AV car receivers has other highlights and proprietary technologies such as 13-band graphic equalizer, 96kHz/24-bit FLAC file playback, Spotify music-streaming support, Advanced Sound Retriever, and MIXTRAX DJ technology.
The new Pioneer CD and digital media receivers can now be availed at Pioneer’s authorized dealers.
