Samsung Philippines outs QLED TV

Samsung has always been one of the leading brands in the television department. With 4K and curved TVs becoming more commonplace in our household, the brand needs to do something spectacular in order to stand out from the competition.

Meet Samsung's QLED TV.  The brand’s new television set offers their new Quantum Dot display technology to achieve 100% color volume. The Samsung QLED TV also sports Samsung’s Precision Black technology to reduce glare and minimize light reflection. Combined with High-Dynamic Range (HDR), the range of luminance levels is increased to bring out detail that are otherwise lost in dark or really bright scenes.

Of course, the panel technology isn’t the only thing driving the Samsung QLED TV. Its design is modern with barely any bezels at the side. It looks more like a picture frame than a TV. It’s also fairly thin as you can see on the photo above.

Attesting to the quality of  the Samsung new QLED TV is award-winning Filipino film director and producer, Paul Soriano. “As a director, I’m very particular about the way the audience experiences my films, and picture quality is a huge component,” says Paul. “A good TV with good picture quality assures me that my viewers will be immersed in the story, allowing me to get my message across in the best way possible,” he added.

The Samsung QLED TV comes in several configurations between 55-inch to 65-inch flat and curved variations:

  • 55-inch, flat – PhP 169,999
  • 55-inch, curved – PhP 179,999
  • 65-inch, flat – PhP 259,999
  • 65-inch, curved- PhP 279,999.
