Sharp brings AQUOS XU 8K Series to PH

Sharp’s AQUOS XU Series, the first 4K TV lineup with 8K resolution, has finally arrived in the Philippines.

Sharp’s newest TV lineup was first introduced last year at CES. In November of the same year, our team in Malaysia got the chance to witness its beauty. Two months later, entered 2016, the pixel-splitting 4K TV came to Singapore. Today, we got to see the future of high-definition TVs ourselves.

The Sharp AQUOS XU Series combines Quattron Pro 4-Color technology and X8 Master Engine Pro upscaling circuit to achieve the highest resolution we now call 8K. Meanwhile, the use of Rich Color Pro technology, which enhances the power of 4-Color technology with a new direct backlight that expands the color reproduction range by 40 percent, and Ultra Dynamic Range Pro, which utilizes the new direct backlight with control area dimming technology, helps provide the deepest contrast in its blacks and whites.

The AQUOS XU Series is available in 55-, 65-, 70-, and 80-inch variants, and comes with a newly developed smart remote control that is equipped with a Sharp original touch pad and a slide bar. The XU Series also works with the latest Android TV platform.

The 80-inch variant stands out more, as it comes with an adjustable loop stand that can be adjusted up to 40cm on the inner portion, and uses N-Black Anti-Glare technology that reduces the reflection on the screen.

The Sharp AQUOS XU Series is now available in all leading appliance stores nationwide.
