Sony A3000 Targets Budget-conscious and First-time DSLR Users, Priced Below 22K

Sony A3000

For first-time DSLR users, Sony is offering one of the newest members of its Alpha family, the A3000. Positioned as an entry-level DSLR-like solution from Sony (it's actually a mirrorless camera system), the A3000 is less pricey than the A58 (PhP 30,999), retailing for PhP 21,999 with an 18-55mm kit lens included. Sony Philippines sweetens the deal by adding a camera bag and an 8GB memory card to the package.

On paper, the Sony A3000 comes with a 20.1-megapixel Exmor APS-C sensor, boasting up to 3.5fps shooting. It features an OLED Trufinder EVF, quick Full HD video recording, and an ISO range of up to 16000 with advanced noise reduction. Other nice features included in the A3000 are Picture Effects, Clear Image Zoom, and Auto-Object Framing. The A3000 is compatible with E-mount lenses.
