Sony's Bluetooth- and NFC-enabled Headsets Enhance Experiences with Xperia Devices

Sony MDR-1RBT

Apart from portable speakers, Sony also enhances consumers' experiences with their Xperia smartphones and tablets with new Bluetooth- and NFC-enabled headsets, which include the MDR-1RBT, MDR-AS700BT, SBH50, and the SBH52.

Sony MDR-AS700BT

The Sony MDR-1RBT is a variant of the MDR-1R headset. Like the latter, the MDR-1RBT uses 40mm dome-type liquid crystal diaphragm. It has a wide frequency response of 4Hz to 80kHz and supports Bluetooth and NFC wireless standards. This headset also offers 30 hours of battery life. More expensive than the MDR-1R (PhP 12,899), the MDR-1RBT costs PhP 17,199.

Sony SBH50

If a large headset like the MDR-1RBT does not float your boat, Sony’s more compact alternative is the MDR-AS700BT. Suitable for users with a very active lifestyle, the MDR-AS700BT has a neckband for sports and offers up to nine hours of battery life. Sony’s price for the MDR-AS700BT is PhP 5,499.

Sony SBH52

Did you just get your Xperia ZL or SP? Sony’s recommended audio accessories for these smartphones are the SBH50 and the SBH52. These clip-type stereo Bluetooth headsets come with an OLED display, built-in FM radio, can last up to 6.5 hours, and are splash-proof. The SBH50 and the SBH52 retail PhP 3,290 and PhP 4,190 respectively.
