Updated: The Starmobile Sky also includes innovative touch features such as Multipoint Gestures which allow users to execute commands with two to three fingers and Double Tap which locks and unlocks the handset by simply tapping on the screen. Adding a new model to its array of affordable Android smartphones, Starmobile recently introduced the Sky for the price lower than PhP 4,000. Running on the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, the Starmobile Sky is powered by a Mediatek MT6582 quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz with 512MB RAM, Mali 400-MP2 GPU clocked at 500MHz, and 4GB internal storage. The Sky features a 4-inch touchscreen and a VGA camera on the front, while its back hosts an 8-megapixel BSI camera. Apart from Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the dual-SIM Sky also supports 3G. Bundled with a 1600mAh lithium-ion battery, the Starmobile Sky promises to offer up to 5.5 hours talk time and 200 hours standby time. Starmobile sells the Sky for PhP 3,890.
