"Summer Squad" graces the launch of the new Fujifilm X-A5

Celebrities/brand ambassadors, together with the executives of Fuijfilm Philippines, graced the launch of the new mirrorless camera called the Fujifilm X-A5.

Fujifilm launched its newest addition to the X series of mirrorless cameras, the Fujifilm X-A5. The brand also featured seven ambassadors led by actress Andi Eigenmann.

The worldwide camera brand formally unveiled the successor of the X-A3, and it is still comprised of the usual 24.2-megapixel sensor with the product line’s signature color reproduction technology. However, the Fujifilm X-A5 also has several features that are poised to step up users' skills in photography with a newly developed zoom lens, 4K movie recording, touchscreen, and the latest Bluetooth pairing technology.

The launch of the Fujifilm X-A5 was highlighted by an all-star panel of brand ambassadors: Shy Carlos, Issa Pressman, Michelle Dy, Janeena Chan, Bea Benedicto, Chelsea Robato, Katarina Rodriguez, and Andi Eigenmann. Also, known personalities and photography enthusiasts Ramon Bautista, Roxanne Barcelo, Victor Basa, Jay Contreras, Sarah Abad, Kim Cruz, Kerwin King, Deegee Razon, Shaira Luna, Reese Lansangan, Erika Rabara, and Lharby Policarpio made their presence during the stylish event.

The camera also boasts a high-speed HD video function and a 2.5mm microphone jack for better sound recording, enabling users like beauty vlogger Michelle Dy and fitness enthusiast Bea Benedicto to record their favorite activities in HD up to quad speed for slow motion clips. Its multifocus mode also lets users to have different bokeh-similar effects and automatically stacks 4K quality images while cleverly changing the depth of field required. In addition, the X-A5’s 4K burst function shoots 15 frames per second in 4K image quality, so anyone can’t now miss a snap.

The X-A5 also has a touchscreen display that can be rotated in more than 180 degrees, and comes with Eye AF function which can make people like blogger and host Janeena Chan and Miss Intercontinental Katarina Rodriguez capture selfies and groufies in a sunshine-like bright and vibrant way. The X-A5 also comes with a three-level Portrait Enhancer Mode which improves skin tone and makes this camera a perfect one to level-up those summer selfies.

With the increased range of ISO sensitivity extended to 128000, harsh sunlight is no longer a problem to camera users like actress Andi Eigenmann and Chelsea Robato. The X-A5 also has Film Simulation Modes for more artistic feel of the photos. Not only that, the camera also has two new advanced features – Fog Remove and HDR art. The new intuitive touch-panel GUI LCD facilitates a live view of film simulations, which allows one to choose the filter of their preference.

With a newly-developed sensor partnered with Fujinon lenses, the Fujifilm X-A5 levels up the run-of-the-mill photos with better image resolution, thus ensuring finer details of photo’s texture, form, and even the atmosphere of the chosen landscape, something that has become a standout compared to its previous models in terms of SR+AUTO mode, color reproduction performance, and “skin tone” reproduction capability. These features help singer Issa Presmann and actress Shy Carlos capture those sun-kissed skylines and totally vivid summer-in-the-city moments.

The new Fujifilm X-A5 comes in three colors: pink, brown, and silver. This compact camera comes with a new kit lens, the XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ, currently the smallest and lightest zoom lens. It is the first electric power zoom in the Fujinon Lens Family and has a minimum shooting distance of 5cm from the lens surface for macro. The camera is available for the price if PhP 34,990.
