Uber partners with ZEN Rooms to improve work condition of partner-drivers

Uber and ZEN Rooms announced their partnership in the country to improve the challenging work conditions of Uber’s partner-drivers due to heavy traffic.

Ahead of Jakarta and Cebu, Manila has topped the 2016 survey for the worst traffic conditions in the world, as well as commuting time from home to office ahead of Rio de Janeiro and Jakarta.

With these, professional drivers are the first to be affected with chronic fatigue and stress, which can be dangerous for themselves and their passengers.

To address this, Uber has partnered with ZEN Rooms to provide their drivers with exclusive discounted rates on all accommodation booking in the country.

“Making travel stays affordable for everyone without sacrificing comfort and safety is ZEN’s core mission. We are delighted to partner up with Uber in the first partnership of its kind to make their driver’s life easier and thus contribute to enhancing everyone’s safety on the road,” Benjamin Nicolas, Managing Director of ZEN Rooms in the Philippines, said.
