ViewSonic Launches Touch Screen Displays

ViewSonic aims to change the way people think about computing. With this in mind, they released the VSD220 Smart Display which is a 22-inch 1920x1080 full-HD resolution monitor. It sports a dual-core ARM-based OMAP 4 processor from Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) and runs on Android 4.0 operating system.

The PC-less VSD220 comes with a dual point optical touch technology screen which gives users a full-on tablet experience but with more space. At the same time, it can be utilized as a traditional PC with its compatibility with a wide variety of keyboards and mice, including both USB and wireless models. It has a Micro HDMI for connecting notebooks and tablets as well as three USB ports, a Micro SD slot, and network connections. A 1.3-megapixel HD webcam is also included in the bundle.
