Watching global football games in the country has now become much closer, as the multi-platform media company beIN Asia Pacific announced the official launch of beIN SPORTS CONNECT, an online streaming football player, in the Philippines.

At the same time, this online service has established ties with the country’s leading mobile brand, Globe Telecom, which means local fans will now have unparalleled access to some of the greatest football action from around the world, including Premier League, LaLiga, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Ligue 1, MLS, Superliga Argentina, Turkish Süper Lig, Hyundai A-League, and more.

“The Philippines is one of the oldest football nations in Asia and has a great pool of passionate football fans. With the launch of beIN SPORTS CONNECT, Filipino fans can finally have the ultimate football experience and enjoy unlimited access to their favorite leagues, teams, and players - all in one destination,” said Mike Kerr, beIN Asia Pacific’s Managing Director for Asia.

Since 2014, Globe Telecom continues to grow its portfolio of international content partners to give its customers more choices based on their interests, be it music, entertainment, or sports.

“Our collaboration with beIN SPORTS CONNECT will allow us to offer more sports content to our customers who love to be in the middle of the action of some of the best football matches in different leagues. We look forward to bringing the best of football right to their devices, ready to be enjoyed, whenever,” added Niko Acosta, Globe Senior Vice President for Content Business.

For its Philippine launch, beIN SPORTS CONNECT will initially be available to all Globe Prepaid and TM customers with a limited time offer of PhP 20 for a one-day package, and PhP 200 for a one-month deal through Globe Direct Carrier Billing. In addition, beIN also offered free all-access weekend that took place from March 3 to 5, 2018, wherein fans have seen matches such as Barcelona vs. Atletico Madrid and Manchester City vs. Chelsea.

Apart from the three beIN channels (beIN SPORTS 1, 2, and 3), users can choose from a wide array of additional live matches through any connected mobile device, laptop, and even desktop computer. They can also set alert reminders, pause and rewind live matches, use Chromecast or AirPlay on a smart TV, and enjoy games in high definition. With all these new exciting features, users will have full control of setting their viewing agenda.

To subscribe, fans can visit beIN SPORTS website or download the app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
