With turbine blade-inspired design, LG's Levitating Portable Speaker (PJ9) will surely turn some heads. The PJ9 is a wireless speaker that floats over its levitation station while spinning out audio. Users can also detach the speaker to use it as a weather-resistant portable audio device.

The PJ9 uses electromagnets to float in mid-air and, with its design, the speaker brings to mind airplane motors when it spins.

The PJ9 boasts a 360-degree omnidirectional speaker with Dual Passive Radiator Technology for mid- and high-range tones. Meanwhile, the station also works as a subwoofer for deep bass.

Promising a 10-hour battery life, the device automatically descends to the station. Then, it will start to charge wirelessly with no interruption to audio playback. It will float back up to the air again once fully charged.

Users can also enjoy using it as an ordinary wireless speaker. Being IPX7 compliant, it can withstand being immersed in water up to 1m in depth for up to 30 minutes. It can also connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time.

Meanwhile, there is no announcement about its launch date and price yet.
