Will Xiaomi reveal the Mi Note 2 on November 5?

The 9-month-old Xiaomi Mi Note may soon be replaced by its successor as early as next month.

If you recently bought the Xiaomi Mi Note, we would suggest that you do not read this article further as it may break your heart. However, if you insist, your Mi Note may be replaced by a new model as early as next month!

According to tipster @Leaksfly, Xiaomi will be unveiling the Mi Note 2 on 5th November with a list of updated specs such as a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display, 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space.

There is also a possibility of the Qualcomm's Sense ID fingerprint sensor appearing on the Mi Note 2 alongside a 16-megapixel camera, Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a metal design and 4G LTE connectivity. As for the processor, it is still not determined whether the Mi Note 2 will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or the MediaTek Helio X20.

Xiaomi announced the Mi Note and Mi Note Pro in January this year and it took six months for it to be available in Singapore. If Xiaomi really launches the Mi Note 2 next month, it is likely that we will only be getting it in Q1 2016.
