Windows 10 users can soon pin their favorite contacts to the taskbar

The Creators Update will help you prioritize messages from key people in your life.

Microsoft decided to focus on features that would help their users stay connected with the important people in their lives. With this, Microsoft has announced that users could soon pin their favorite contacts to the Windows 10 taskbar through the new Creators Update.

The space will serve as a communications hub for messaging apps, email, and Skype. Microsoft will also prioritize mail and Skype messages from your pinned contacts, so it won't get lost among the rest of your correspondence.

Messages will appear right on your desktop as soon as you get the notification.

Appearing on the right part of the desktop, there’s even an element of fun here. Users can send emoji to people, and they’ll pop up right on the desktop.

And, if you don't have someone to pin on your taskbar, well, there's an option to create a 3D cat or dog icon and pin it.
