It's no secret that Microsoft's Xbox gaming console is struggling in Japan. After all, Japan is the home turf of Sony and its PlayStation gaming console.

However, the latest sales figures from Media Create, a Japanese company that tracks gaming sales in Japan, suggests that Microsoft could be better off pulling itself out of Japan altogether.

During the week of June 8 to June 14, Microsoft sold just 100 Xbox One consoles, which accounts for just 0.1% of all gaming hardware sales for that week. In comparison, Sony sold 10,822 PlayStation 4 consoles and 2,633 PlayStation 3 consoles.

Yup, the Xbox One got outsold 26 to 1 by the PlayStation 3, a console that is over 9 years old!
