Zalora Philippines opens digital pop-up store at Shangri-La Plaza Mall

With a desire to bridge the gap between the online and traditional retailing, Zalora Philippines has opened its first ever digital pop-up store in the country as part of its omnichannel approach.

Looking like a typical outlet store, the Zalora Digital Pop-up Store displays an extensive collection of clothing and accessories complete with mannequins and fitting rooms.

The unique thing about this new digital pop-up store is it lets customers see and touch the actual products first before making a purchase, without veering away from the concept of online retailing. Meaning, all transactions are still done online, only with the added benefit of trying on the products first before purchasing.

The Zalora Pop-Up Store offers customers the experience of traditional shopping and online shopping all in one venue. Once you have chosen an item, all you have to do is proceed to the express checkout, wherein you can log into a computer, scan the item, and pay for it online. It will then be delivered right to your doorstep, removing the difficulty of having to carry shopping bags from the store to your house.

You can get your purchase within the same day through Zalora’s same-day express shipping, or wait one to three days for the delivery.

According to Paulo Campos, Co-Founder and CEO of Zalora Philippines, the Pop-Up Store “marks another milestone” in the company’s history. Zalora started its operations in the country in 2012, and since then has grown to become an online fashion destination for many Filipinos.

The Zalora Digital Pop-up Store is located at the 5th Floor of the EDSA Shangri-La Plaza Mall and will be open until September 2015.
